A day at the Berlin botanical garden.

Exploring the botanical garden with a biologist we learnt about Alexander von Humboldt who ‘read plants as others did books’. Later in the day we sat on the lawn by carefully cultivated roses while Lilia Luganskaia discussed floriography, flower symbolism and the history of flowers in XXI century. We ended the day with Shota Nakamura, who prompted us to walk through the garden, before finally resting to draw our memories and journeys.
